Step away, just step away from me. poppystar.
Her face was hard as a rock. Her eyes scanned over her clan. Poppystar sat in the main clearing close to her den. Her eyes took in every piece of what was happening in the clan. She relaxed a little when she saw that everything was okay. Ever since what happened she has been extra careful with her clan.
The redish and white she-cat laid down in the sun. She began to get lost in her thoughts. Her face showed nothing and her eyes kept looking around. Every time her eyes passed over a cat the thought jumped in her head, They are suppose to be dead. It kept popping up until cleared her thoughts. No, that is not true. Starclan did that on purpose, but if Starclan didn't do that they might be dead from all the fighting.
Poppystar never told anyone in her clan about what happened four moons ago. Yep, it was four moons but she still thought about it almost every second. She knew she had to get over it but all the thoughts kept swelling up in her head and there was no way for her to get them out. Of course she would never tell anyone about that. Never.

((SPOILER ALERT A Dangerous Path))
It was days like this when Cedartail thought of the stories the elders used to tell him as a kit about Firestar, one of the previous leaders of ThunderClan. A personal favorite of his was the one about the fire that nearly destroyed their Clan's camp, but ended up only burning away some of the leaves and plants that shaded them from the sun. Of course, it was a good thing that all of the ferns and trees has grown back, but this happened to be one of the few times when he thought sun glowing warmly on the camp would be very nice. There was always Sunningrocks, yes, but if a RiverClan patrol caught him being lazy, they would think lowly of him. While his Clan mattered most, Cedartail did not like to be underestimated.
Near the Highrock and Poppystar's den, Cedartail noticed Poppystar herself, looking a bit...worried, maybe? Or perhaps she was merely tired. Whatever it was he thought she felt, the ginger and white tom found himself padding over to her, a slightly concerned look spreading across his otherwise proud face. "Is everything alright?" He asked, curling his ringed tail around his front paws. "You seem a bit...dare I say, stressed." Understood it was that leading a Clan, one like ThunderClan especially, was difficult, he tried not to seem ungrateful or not understanding. He was simply expressing his concern for the rock-solid look she wore.

Poppystar had begun to stop paying attention to the cats in camp and get lost in her own world and her own thoughts. She tried her hardest to run the clan just like everyone had always been alive and none of them had died. They hadn't really killed them, because it was on purpose. Right?
"Is everything alright?" Poppystar hadn't even noticed Cedartail approach her until after he talked, a kit could do better than that! She quickly dismissed that thought and moved on to her warrior. "You seem a bit...dare I say, stressed" Cedartail finished his thought and Poppystar tightened up a little bit, then relaxed she knew that he was only trying to help.
Right then and there Poppstar wanted to spill everything out. She had been so good about keeping her feelings to herself, except for this one. Actually, all the feelings about what had happened. She didn't like burdening other cats with her problems, even if they wanted to know.
"I just have a lot on my mind I suppose." That was probably the vaguest answer that could possibly be given, but she said it. [/blockquote]

As the pause grew longer, Cedartail swished his tail across the ground, the tiny blades of grass making an incredibly faint rustling noise as he did so. What this pause was about, he did not know, and he couldn't help but wonder. Was she contemplating telling him the reason? Or was she just tired, as he'd previously thought? Being so nosy was probably a bad thing for him, so he kept his jaws clamped shut. A butterfly, red in the way of its wings, with darker and yellow spots and splashes adorning the thin membranes, flew past him. Luckily, it distracted him only briefly, as he remembered that he was a warrior, and chasing butterflies was a kit's game. Of course, the word "kit" only reminded him of his sister, Dawnstep's, two kits. The usual pain clawed at his belly when he thought of them, but his reminiscing was, to his great joy, interrupted by Poppystar, to whom he should've been paying attention the whole time. "I just have a lot on my mind I suppose." Her words were clear as the entered the warrior's ears, but even clearer and easier to hear was the message. In his mind, "I just have a lot on my mind" was simply a polite way of saying "This is none of your business". So, deciding that pressing the matter would only result in the loss of his ears, at the worst, he took a small, kit-sized step back. "I see." He said, his voice still as strong as ever. "If you need someone to talk to, you know where to find me." A tiny grin crept across his features, signifying that he was trying to lighten the mood, just a little bit. Of course, he was serious about the offer, but seriousness did not seem to be the right thing right now. It wouldn't hurt, much at least, but a little humor was always a good "herb" for almost anything, from an aching heart to an aching bone. Unsure if he had been dismissed by those words, he didn't dare move from his spot, but speaking, too, he refrained from.
