[name.] Pebblestream
[age.] 48 moons
[gender.] She-cat
[clan.] RiverClan
[rank.] Deputy
[personality.] Pebblestream has a few qualities needed to be a great leader. Kindness she shows by, well, being kind. It's natural for her, always genuine. Should a kittypet, for whatever reason, wander onto their territory, she usually escort it to their leader, to inform them of this, then personally lead it back to its home. For her, smiles are never forced, but real, and her expression never fails to show her true feelings. Generosity she also possesses, always wanting to help cats in need, her clanmates coming first. She is, for lack of a better word, a bit temperamental, as in, both easily excited. Normally, this would not be a problem, but celebrating victories too early can only lead to disaster, especially if this joy is taken advantage of.
Now, such a kind, caring cat, she wouldn't seem to have a bad side, would she? Well, there you'd be wrong. While it's not incredibly easy to anger her, annoyance comes by her just a bit too often. She usually tries to hide it, but comes just short of successful sometimes. It's not like she'll send you into exile, mostly because that's the leader's job, but she may hesitate to give you a break, depending on how annoyed or angry you've managed to get her.
[description.] Being a swift-swimming RiverClan cat, Pebblestream has a slim, lean build, very helpful, when she's swimming or wading. It helps her catch prey, too, as it seems to make her a bit faster, but there's always a downside. Her lightweight makes her easier to be carried down the river if the current is strong or she loses her footing.
As for her fur, it is a multitude of grays and a few dark silvers. Medium-dark gray is most of her fur, but down the backs of her hind legs it grows the faintest bit darker. It appears that her hind paws are a tiny bit darker than that, and a small, thin, light gray stripe runs up her tail. Her sides are flecked with different shades of gray, lightly resembling pebbles at the bottom of a river. To touch, it's a bit rough, but pretty soft, too. Her nose is a medium-dark gray, and her pads are pink.
[history.][in.the.nursery]
As a kit, Pebblekit loved nothing more than playing "warriors" with her brothers, Stonekit and Rainkit. They were always the leaders, forcing her to be a "lowly", in these games, warrior of one of their Clans. Should the other kits join in, they would all take turns being leader, not letting Pebblekit join in unless someone called her attention. This always made her want to be better than them, to "fight" and win. Eventually, she did, making her the leader of ThunderClan, for one game, at least.
[my.name.is.paw]
At six moons she became an apprentice of RiverClan, her mentor being, in her opinion, the "bestest best" and strongest warrior in the Clan. Well, you know, besides the leader and deputy, she said. She was eager to learn, trying to make her mentor take her out to train everyday, if possible. Under his teachings, Pebblepaw became a fair hunter, but not the best fighter in RiverClan. Her small frame made throwing opponents off of her stomach difficult, let alone her back. Maybe, she thought, that was the reason why she didn't become an apprentice until she reached the age of 12 moons, she thought.
[i.will.do.my.best]
As a warrior, Pebblestream tried to go on at least one border patrol and one hunting patrol everyday, not necessarily a hard feat to accomplish. Harder was trying to train her first apprentice, while trying to keep the same goals. It wasn't long until she decided to take her apprentice on at least one of her patrols everyday, and train him in battle on others. Soon after that, her training schedule became spontaneous as she discarded her "two patrols a day" rule and devoted most of her time to her apprentice, and a bit less to the patrols. It seemed to pay off, though, as the stubborn male became a warrior at least a moon before his sister.
[fight.for.my.clan]
It was then that that the fighting broke out amongst the Clans, much to Pebblestream's dismay. As hard as she tried to defend her Clan, fighting was not one of her better traits, and she resorted to trying to get around and hunt for the remaining warriors of her slowly-weakening Clan.
